Pluto wants to kill off that which brings you pain. (I paraphrase James Burgess of Sabian Mysteries.) Pluto wants to help you find inner alignment. Pluto wants to help you transform the areas of your life and being that are victim to a power imbalance. Pluto wants good things for you despite the feelings of upset and upheaval it brings to your life.

What is your style point of view? What do you want to express and who do you want to become through the power of your wardrobe?

When you have a strong point of view in your styling choices, your wardrobe naturally develops cohesion. You will be able to mix and match pieces more easily. You won’t spend as much time shopping aimlessly. Friends and family will know exactly what to give you as gifts. (Won’t that be nice?!) You may even build up a collection that develops into a greater financial investment. (Are museum donations write-offs?)

Oh look, someone is easing into Pisces season with a bit of color!

Ok, not really, but until I can gather an ensemble that is the ideal Pisces look I shall just tell you about it instead. It is purple, lots of purple – but in softer pearlescent hues and with undercurrents of sky and oceanic turquoise blue. Also: fuchsia, white, and peacock green. Sometimes red too, but there must be depth to it like a Ruby gemstone. And there must be glimmer. Always something that glimmers.

Question: how many items of clothing are hanging in your wardrobe right now that you just feel… OK about? that you decided to keep because it wasn’t great but it’s OK? that you bought not because you reeaally had to have it, but because it was OK enough to solve a problem at the time you bought it?

Question: how many of those OK pieces do you actually wear? And if you wear them how do you feel in them? just OK? meh? I thought so.

How do you develop a “look”? a signature style?

Honestly, I think the key is experimentation. And getting messy over and over and over again.

In the process of play is discovery.

Here are some more Aquarian looks in action starting with this icy-blue metallic jean and fuzzy sweater get-up, followed by the colorful pairing of a blue slip dress, white latex boots and green purse. This featured blue top paired with a red alpaca skirt and white boots leans into Aquarian ORIGINALITY.

Let’s round out this cold, dry Capricorn season with a new SB on the LBC…little black coat!…of which I own many (and had to keep a few closeted for upcoming videos 😉). I’m a coat girl. Coats make up the majority of my capsule wardrobe. Tops and pants come and go, but coats? They not only keep you warm, they make STATEMENTS. And one simple switcheroo can give you a whole new outfit.
