Do these titles mean the same thing? Do they mean something different? What is implied by each arrangement of words?

How’s that for word play? And word play Gemini does enjoy. (Secret: I’ve dated a Venus in Gemini (12th House) and dirty talk was their No. 1 choice of foreplay. Goodness, those sexy word games were a lot!)

I digress.

Now that Uranus has made its way into Gemini through 2033, I’m thinking about the use of language — in the news, in communities, in media/marketing, in political runs, in the ways we speak to our individual selves. (Uranus is the disruptor, and Gemini is the journalist.) With the pairing of a planet known for its unconventional methods and approaches to life and an Air sign with a love for wordplay, how will the ways we speak and communicate change?

Collectively, will we rise together, despite the backgrounds/class/political party that once kept us apart, to speak out and revolt against the oligarchy (Pluto) and their current passion project: the AI data center? Will we choose to converse less online and more in person or via secret snail mail? (I fear for the life/dissolution of the US Postal System btw.) As more folks — especially Gen Z and Gen Alpha — choose the path of analog, will there be a strengthening of subcultures? Will new pockets of dialect emerge?

Individually, will we shift the language we use with ourselves (from “I can’t” and “This is always how it has been done” to “How can I?” and “What new approaches can I take to problem solve or manifest wants?”) so that pathways toward career, social group, and creative expansion are maintained? Additionally, what new languages might you/we learn (technologically, in law, writing and word)? How do you currently speak to yourself? What fixed ideas have you been stuck in? How is your thought process ready to change?

Below is a list of “thoughts” I personally aim to challenge and change during the Uranus in Gemini transit. As a Scorpio Sun/Rising/Stellium, I often allow my fears to keep me quiet and bound to the life patterns I am miserable living, and I’m tired of operating that way. Here’s to manifesting by being vocal about what I envision for my future.

Expectations.

I remain open to discoveries that manifest through play and experimentation. I enter every encounter with curiosity and wonder. I pitch as an invitation to gather as much as to collaborate. And, my standards - not expectations - open the space for expansion.

Linear Thinking.

I follow the path of intuition. I trust my imagination and midnight dreams. I prototype potential futures and iterate as intuited. Animated thoughts are welcomed. Eccentricity is embraced.

Choosing a Niche.

I am all I want to be. I breathe multi-hyphenate creativity. I embrace restlessness as my guide. I thrill practicing non-conformity. I choose my radical self over choosing a niche.

Relying on One Resource.

I diversify resources and am adaptable to the potentiality of multiple futures, allowing for continued momentum, expansion, and pivoting with more ease. Whether it’s an income stream, an amendment in the garden, or a marketing channel for business, I practice the options that interest me.
