I am a treasure hunter. Since early childhood, I have loved rummaging through the basements and closets of elder neighbors who entertained my creative curiosities. In mid-life, I recreate this joy in the warehouse of Goodwill, where I sort through piles of clothes, objects, linens, and decor destined for the landfill. I never know what I will find, and I never leave the bins without locating at least one treasure to resell, reuse, or repurpose for my own enjoyment. Here are some of the objects I’ve taken home for myself.
