The Workshop

Divine Space

With enough new clothes on the planet to dress the next six generations, there is no denying we (and the Earth) have more than we need.

If you landed here, I am willing to bet you have more than you probably want too. Because, within this system of capitalist exploitation, you’ve been trained to consume.

Invest in more. Fill the gaps. Keep up with the trends. Replace what you have for the next and ‘best’ version. And more and more pieces on top of one another — whether it’s the decor in your living room or the clothes in your wardrobe. There’s always more to consume.

Whew! No!

I don’t know about you, but I find there is actually more (creative freedom, choice, and power) in the edit: the subtraction of things, the replacement of five things that aren’t working with the one thing that will, and saying YES to very little. Your wardrobe is so much more cohesive, and your style so much more powerful, when there is precise clarity in knowing exactly what you want and what you don’t, than there is in the mass consumption of stuff that offers a variety of choice but leaves you with more questions around how to wear all of it. (How do you know what to pair with what and how do you even start to pick out what to wear when there are so.many.options?!)

But when you possess an edited wardrobe, you start your day having to make less decisions, move through the day with more confidence in what you are wearing for any situation, and finish the day knowing you are returning to an ordered and clutter-free space that brings peace and calm.

If you are interested in learning how to become a powerful editor of your wardrobe, a more discerning shopper, and an amazing self-stylist with what you already own, you might want to join me for the wardrobe editing workshop on May 16th: Divine Space.

In this workshop, you will:

  1. Discern between what to keep and what to release when it feels like there is nothing to wear in your wardrobe and you want to throw it all out! (Trust me, you DO have items that work.)

  2. Learn when to say NO and when to say YES to pieces while shopping.

  3. Develop a crystal clear vision of what you want your wardrobe and personal style to feel like.

  4. Create shopping guidelines that help you develop the vision you have for your personal style.

  5. Cover tips and tricks for releasing items when it's hard to let go.

And, we will, of course, learn these tips, tricks, and methods through the perspectives of the Signs. (What does a Scorpio look for when shopping? What does an Aries really need in their wardrobe? What will help a Cancer emotionally let go and let live?)

Sound cosmic to you? Sounds like wardrobe relief to me!

Remember to bring your notebook, a writing instrument, and at least one wardrobe item that causes you grief.
